In February, we had major water damage caused by a broken pipe. We had no kitchen for over 5 months. We’ve had asbestos abatement and mold removal. It was a complete nightmare and we’ve had many sleepless nights wondering what was next. After insurance settled, we found an amazing contractor who immediately stepped in to help. DWV Construction created a wonderfully functional and stunning kitchen for us. With precise attention to detail and function, our kitchen was complete in an extremely timely manner. Working with DWV Construction was an absolute joy. When Don started work, my home was completely gutted down to the studs. He transformed my derelict structure into a beautiful home, from floor to ceiling and everything in-between! On top of doing A+ work, he is great communicator and listener. I found it very easy to bounce ideas off of him to achieve the exact look i envisioned. With his good communication comes efficiency and punctuality. He creates a timeline and amazingly sticks to it. We’d been considering a full gut remodel of our kitchen and primary bathroom since moving into our home several years ago. The unknown scope and cost of such a project seemed to keep this idea slightly out of reach. A leaking toilet was our springboard to begin calling contractors for a bid. At this point we were still unsure if we would move forward with a simple toilet replacement/repair or pursue our dream of a full kitchen and bathroom remodel. We did our due diligence and met with several contractors. When we met Don and shared our vision for the project, it was clear to us we would be choosing DWV Construction for our project. After our consult, Don took our ideas and transformed them into layout and design. He walked us through each step of the planning process including meeting us at various supply distributors to ensure our selections best fit the spaces. Don gave an estimate of 8 weeks from demo to finishing touches. Don was always present at each phase of our project and gave clear direction to his subcontractors. Everyone who worked on our project were very professional, polite, and skilled. We chose to continue living in our home during the project, which comes with certain expectations. Don made this as comfortable as possible and was very respectful of our family time.

Don Vedaa was our contractor for the huge remodel and addition that we had done on our 1924 Portland bungalow. The work consisted of adding an extension to the back of the house for a bedroom/bath, new kitchen, and laundry. Along with these, a dining room was created, existing bathroom remodeled, topped off with a new roof and paint all around. We hired Don based upon the recommendation by our architect that designed the work that we had done, and we could not have been happier with Don's service. From the very beginning, Don was responsive and worked hard to get us all of the information needed to make the ultimate decision to have the work done. The COVID-19 pandemic did create some significant challenges between the increased costs and the supply issues, but Don managed to find options that would work when those problems arose. As always happens with construction, unanticipated issues occurred. We were very pleased with Don's communication with us when these issues arose and his responsiveness in working with his subcontractors to resolve the problems. The quality of the workmanship and materials he chose were excellent. Don's expertise shines in the bathroom and kitchen remodeling we had done. We are thrilled to be living in our much improved homed and appreciate all of Don's hard work.

DWV Construction is excellent! DWV sets itself apart from other contractors in several ways - superb communication, Don provides creative solutions that wont blow your budget, and work done on time - just to name a few examples! They did a full bathroom remodel on my 1930's home that had a few challenges. Don check in regularly to make sure everything was going to plan and done right. His contractors were polite and respectful to my home. Best of all for me, Don kept in close contact so I always knew what was happening and what was next. My husband and I were thrilled with the result. I'm hiring Don's team to remodel another bathroom and build out my basement.
